About US
J Foster and Son has been trading since 1980. It was first set up by John Foster and he was joined by his son Mark.
Mark served his 4 year apprenticeship with Black Dyke Lane Joinery in Poppleton and worked for a further year with Mr Brennon, of Black Dyke Lane Joinery, before joining his father in the family business.
After John sadly passed away in 2000, Mark has since continued to run the business, keeping the company name in his father’s memory, and is now in partnership with his wife Bev.
We put our two sons Darren & Liam through their joinery apprenticeships and they too are both qualified professionals, keeping the family tradition going.
This really is a family business.
